My first radio interview - Egad!
Hi all,
I recently did an interview on Changesurfer Radio with a Dr. J. Hughes chatting it up about my novel, EVE, and the future of genetic engineering.
It was scary, and fun, and new. I guess it went okay. You can judge for yourself. Here's the link where you can listen for free, if you're interested:

Cheers,
Aurelio

Aurelio - what does 'egad' mean?
I was going to ask you earlier but I forgot.
I loved the radio interview by-the-way. It was enlightening - your work sounds amazing. I hope they do make a film of your book; I want to see it.
Also - do you think they'll stick to the book or are you happy for them to bend the storyline for the big screen?

Um... look at the current book to movie results. It's beyond scary.
When an author signs away the movie rights for a book to Hollywood, anyone short of Stephen King or J. K. Rowlin gets zero say on what comes out the other end. So, I guess my short answer would be that to get a movie of my novel made, regardless of the outcome, would be a great commercial for My novel and MY story. And it might yield some income if it actually gets made.
I'll have to walk that plank when I come to it.
It's also reassuring that the original story will continue to exist, even if the movie version blows.
Thanks for actually listening to the interview, epone! I appreciate it.
P.S. Egad is an alteration of the exclamation, "Oh God!" Sometimes stated as, "Egads and small fishes!"
Cheers,

Congratulations. I can't actually listen to the radio broadcast because my browser's too slow.

Intervies
Wow. Congrats on both. Having once had a radio show, I know that interviewers don't always make it easy for those they are interviewing. Its a nervewracking experience when the guest doesn't know what to expect, and there's no script. A lot of interview-ee's ask for one, and the famous GIVE the radio station one.
I don't think I could let anyone touch anything I ever wrote. Hat's off to you!

Thanks semtecks and Wyndstar.
My interviewer, Dr. J, was nice. He allowed me to submit a few suggested questions to him ahead of time, so that helped both of us a bit, but all my prep for those questions went completely out of my head the minute we started talking. It's funny how that works.
It was a great opportunity, and he posted my picture and a blurb on his site for it too. I feel lucky for getting the chance to explain my novel.

Nice interview man!
Exciting times for sure! I can't wait to see the finished result.
The book is freakin awesome, and if anyone hasn't read it yet, I heartily recommend it.

Thank you, Space Monkey. It's the best feeling in the world when people say they enjoyed my novel. Especially people who write as well as you do! It makes all the work and dedication worth it.
I'm having a blast with my next, BTW. I can't wait to share it with you.
Cheers,
