Looking for scifi and fantasy writers to help me out on a project!

Help me write a comic! http://fantasycomic.forumup.org/

I am an aspiring writer and an avid reader. I enjoy reading almost any genre, but I prefer science fiction and fantasy books. The comic that I would like to start would incorporate both of those genres into one. I want a dragonlance/Forgotten Realms feel to the world. Anyways...I am looking for writers and people who can draw, to help me create the story! Here is the link to the forum site for the comic...please feel free to ask any questions you might have on the forum link.

Thanks for your time!

Sorry;-)!

Sorry... I shouldn't have jumped on you like that, lol. We have a group of writers who are currently throwing around some ideas for the project now. We have decided to stray away from the "comic" idea and make it more of a novel. The writers would create a common world in which we all would write(much like how the writers in the Dragonlance saga all base their stories in the world of Krynn). We have decided to clash both the worlds of Science Fiction and Fantasy into one, giant collaboration. Like I said, we are still tossing around some ideas, but a few of the ideas I think we have all agreed upon.

First...the races in the world will not be the standard races such as elves, dwarves, etc. They will be subraces, mixtures, or new races all-together.

Second....we want to have humans play the role of a sub-species, a lower class in and of itself. The world we create will be ruled by a race of brute strength(much like Orcs) but will also have an uncommon intelligence.

Third.....a human scout will be the lone survivor of a crashed recon ship that was scouting the area. This human will discover a world unlike anything he has ever seen before. He will discover a world in which humans are used as slaves and are slaughtered on a whim. This lone scout will have to save the human race on this planet in order to save himself.

I hope this helps....if you want more info on some of the ideas we are kicking around, then please visit the website! Or just ask them here and I will try to respond as quickly as possible.

Dephere is an unknown quantity at this point
Well, the reason we take things literally around here is because the reasons for our passions are based on the levity of words, and yes, even sarcastic words carry levity. You must realize that words cannot be connoted with tone when shown on the screen, something often overlooked when people type things into their computer.

If you couldn't tell I am talking from my ass, and it is very late.
