Thanks to all who are interested! We look forward to including some of your pieces in the next book.

Concerning the specific questions by Ralizah: the word limit is 8000, but we can certainly make exceptions. As for genre, we are looking for everything, with the predictable exception of nihilist writings or things along that vein.

I'd be happy to answer any other questions you can't determine from the link.

I'm kind of embarrassed that a prospective market had to go through all of that when a lot of us are interested in submitting to just such venues. I'd rather be forced to use my brain and read submission guidelines than not be informed of markets at all, which is what's going to start happening if ezines, magazines, and the like feel rejected by the WF community.

For shame.

The least you can do is offer a complimentary copy to the writers, don't you think? Is that too much to ask for?

You say the magazine may be priced at $23! And, you still don't pay the authors?

I was thinking of submitting a story, but now, I don't think I want to. I would want atleast a copy of the magazine in which my stort is published.

This one is a joke - isn't it?

No compensation, rights to reproduce wherever you want to and not even a copy of the $23.00 book to the author. Wow. I'm betting you're going to have a lot of blank pages.

When is the entry deadline? What genre are you looking for?
