Writing Notebook

I've been looking for a working writing notebook. I've recently gotten back into my writing and I'm more serious about it than I've been in
years. It just feels so good to sit down and write. When I'm not writing,
I'm thinking about writing, or gathering ideas for writing etc.

I teach middle school, 7th grade literacy( reading) and writing serves as
great creative outlet and a wonderful escape.............

Of course I've been told that I don't live in the real world in the first place.

I heard a great quote, I forget who said it but it describes me perfectly.

"I can only take reality in small doses."

Hence,my need to write !!

Thanks for letting me babble, it's late and I'm getting tired and my son
is looking to log on.

I'm in NY so it's 10:30pm here.

I'll let you know how the notebook works out !!

Good night.

Maybe you could try having a few different working notebooks. You could have something purse-sized so you can jot down notes or ideas at school or wherever, because no matter how much you are determined to remember that really great idea later on, you rarely do. Then you could have something different and more comfortable for at home. Some writers even like the unlined artist notebooks. Supposedly you can doodle your way out of writer's block but I'm a little skeptical about that.

Good luck with the writing. Don't get discouraged when it becomes extraordinarily difficult.
