I was thinking about picking up the Novel and Short Story Writer's Market, but realized that 2005 is waning and the new edition might be out soon.

The easy answer would be "The new versions come out in 2006", but I almost think I remember seeing the 2005 version while it was still 2004, kind of like how you can already buy 2006 model year cars.

Do they come out any time soon? I'm just wondering if I'm going end up buying the 2005 edition a week before the new one comes out, and then kick myself. Not that it would be the end of the world - I know it would still be very helpful, but I figure that if it was relatively soon, I could just wait and get the new one.

The 2006 version of the regular writer's market is already listed for sale on the Writers Digest website so I would say that the other versions will probably be out very soon.

Edit: I did some more searching and found it for sale here:http://www.writersdigest.com/store/b...y.asp?id=11021 so it is probably already out.
