Who has been published?
Just curious as to how many people here have had a book published?

I have three books published. Two in the USA and one in Holland.
I write in both English and Dutch. My genre is historical fiction.

I've had 5 poetry chapbooks published and have had poetry & a short story published in about 40 poetry journals in the U.S., Canada and Europe...all very small presses and publications. Some broadsides as well.
I am currently seeking (and one day hope to) publish a novel and/or a full length poetry book that people could actually buy in the stores one day.
It would be nice to have a "real" book, though that doesn't take away from having chapbooks published. Poetry is a hard sell to most publishers. The chapbook is a nice vehicle for those since most big publishers won't even consider them unless you're already known.

I've had short stories published and recently landed a two-book deal with St. Martin's Press.

I have a philosophy book coming out in Feb 2006, and a few hundred newspaper articles (err. . .).
Someday, knock on wood, I'll publish some fiction like you folks. The rest of it doesn't matter to me!

A few short stories in some small press print and online magazines. A long way to go, I have, but I don't mind waiting.

I've been, but it doesn't really count. When I was 14, I wrote descriptive prose about what it's like the worship in Quaker meeting. It was recently published in an anthology of Quaker youth writings.
I hope to get a short story published someday.

*feels small*
I've never found my online username more fitting ...
Nickie, what's the tittle of the book you published in Holland?
Misschien heb ik het wel gelezen? Al lees ik vooral fantasy en dus bijgevolg veel vertalingen (omdat Vlaamse/Nederlandse fantasy-schrijvers erg zeldzaam lijken te zijn).

I have 4 novels published: Island Life (Barclay Books, USA, 2001)
and the Watchers trilogy (Black Death Books, USA, 2003/4) with three more novels coming in 2005/6.
I've also had over 130 short stories published in the semi-pro genre press. My work has appeared both in print and on-line magazines based in the UK, Greece, India, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, the USA and Canada. My latest short story sale was to Nova Scotia, an anthology of Scottish Science fiction, where I'm rubbing shoulders with HUGO winners Charlie Stross and Ken McLeod

His name is Willie Meikle. There seems to be two "The Watchers" trilogies. The other is by Caiseal Mor.
