I am a Louisiana Storyteller and author of the Theodore Da Baer series of books. My first book was published in Feb of this year. My second book will be released next year.

I write children's novels. I love writing for children. I love to see them smile when I tell them about my magical teddy baer and his silly antics.

I was 60 when my first book was released. Follow your dreams. A friend once told me there is nothing sadder than an untold story. She was so right. Write your stories, it makes no difference if they are published or not. They will be a part of you that you can leave behind. Stories that your children and grandchildren will enjoy far into the future. Never give up on your dreams.

Teddy Baer Hugs and Magical Wishes to you and yours. May your lives be filled with Teddy Baer Hugs and Magical Moments.

A Glass Thought

Published? Not yet. I only seriously considered writing as a career about a year ago. Since then, I've written about ten short stories, and enrolled in The University of North Texas, my major? Journalism.
I feel like publication is something just around the bend. There are a few short stories that I'm working on now that I feel are good enough to be published upon completion and revision. And I've begun work on what I hope will be a novel.
I guess the sooner I put stuff out there to be either accepted or rejected, the sooner things start to happen, but since I'm a slight perfectionist, I won't even consider submitting a story to magazines unless I'm sure it's good. I guess that's why I post my stuff here first, it's a good way to test how readers react to your work. I hope to have my novel finished before I am out of college.
If anyone else is currently unpublished, don't worry, there are plenty of us out there.
