Searching Neverland - Brandnew writer's community

We are a brand-new Community for those among us who revere the Written Word, who know that inner urge for verbal expression and are looking for a place to indulge in these passions, share them and meet lovely people of the same inclination.

Now you might wonder...

Why yet another Online Writing Community?

Admittedly, that is definitely a valid question, to which I can only give a quite subjective answer. Personally I have searched the net for one that combines what I am looking for a Writing Community - and I haven't found it. If you feel the same or just curious - help me make this the flourishing, lively place it hopefully deserves to become.

What then makes Searching Neverland so special?

So far - probably nothing, except maybe for a well thought-through system to keep a Board Community easy to find your way in and lucid and clear for the best reading and browsing experience. Many plans I have for the future are only realizable, when we gain a recognisable number of members, posted stories and a lovely atmosphere. So what makes Searching Neverland special? One thing for certain: I believe it can be - with Your help!

One more thing maybe might encourage you to forgive us the fact that we are a very small community so far: The bigger and more successful the community is - the smaller is your influence. At Searching Neverland your opinion means a lot - we still have room, time amd passion to include YOUR ideas!

What does "Searching Neverland" stand for?

The most obvious association is of course the connection to the collective fairytale memory it evokes, but that was not the main aspect for choosing the name.

For me Searching Neverland is so fitting for a Writing Community, because at the end of the day - isn't that what writing is about? Being able to find and to connect to a part within you that has fought with full commitment against growing up? Of course much about writing is about editing and editing, and thinking up good metaphor and neat alliterations - but isn't it that Spark of Inspiration that makes it worthwhile?

Feel most Welcome here, and come to settle, maybe together we can create, what is left to improve in terms of Online Writing Communities!

Dearest Greetings,
