I'm an editor who works at editing both e-books and print books. I've been story-editing for a couple of years and I love it. My strengths are in structure--getting a story to flow properly, deleting content unnecessary to the story, re-ordering material, and also in building strong and believable characters.
I'm an experienced writer, having been a successful playwright for many years. In the last few years I have had two e-novels published by Books Unbound. I'm in negotiations with a print publisher to publish the second novel at present.
I'm offering an editorial service to anyone interested in taking up the offer. I can offer straight story-editing, manuscript assessment, book doctoring, mentoring or teaching the fundamentals of the craft.
My fees are reasonable compared with other editing services. I will negotiate a fee structure with writers to suit their needs and budgets.
I do not rip people off. If I don't think I can make a difference to a book, play or short story, then I will tell the writer that and we will leave it at that.
