there are many e-zines that pay for articles... i'm sure you can find them by googling... but i don't think any of them would be an opportunity for a 'summer job,' since their content is provided by free-lancers who submit their work here, there, and everywhere, till someone bites [if they're lucky]...
for an on-going summer job, you'd have to ask at local newspapers that might offer intern spots... but they'd all be filled by now, i should think...
