and a really terrible video on cane use for self defence for seniors

I've had articles on martial arts get into magazines and some poetry...I even had a well known Cdn poet steal one of my poems and put it into the Malahat Review!

I did one 200-page reference book, a very limited run. It was a transcription and interpretation of boring old historical data, requiring attentive work but minimal opportunity for creative writing. I also served as the intermediary to get this snoozer through indexing, ISBNs, copyright, printing/binding, etc. Nope, no author tour or signing sessions for this one, but a good learning experience!
Other than that, I'm a mere little online word-tinker, in poems --

-- and fanfic.

Well, let's see. I have approached five publishers with poetry and prose and have a total of three poems and one short story published or soon to be published. That's not counting the two poems I wrote which were published in the St. Gregor Saskatchewan community newspaper. I have copies to prove it!
I write for pleasure and have a really good job that has lots to do with letters and stuff and pays me enough money that writing can remain a pleasant diversion rather than a desperate venture. That was a very long sentence, hmm .. I suppose I could go back and edit it .. but .. pffftt!

oh .. or did you mean online e-zines? I have had three poems published at http://www.lostinthedark.net/ (in the archives) which is how many I submitted. I can't submit there any more because I am now poetry editor. I'm waiting to hear back from another new e-zine as to whether they're accepting my poem.
oh yeah, and there is this long poem contest I entered but I don't have a hope in hell of winning. They are all University types so I'm sure my road trip to the Yukon collection of poems won't please them. No matter, I loved writing them anyways.

How do you know they stole it? Is that like imitation being the sincerest form of flattery?
Loved your raising cane link!
