The Query Letter

In this case I am interested in a fiction novel query letter.

Anyone know of a standard format kinda thing?

I pretty much know what goes into one just not how pretty it should look.

Grammar is vital as is spelling. Duh.

I guess I'm looking for a template.

Thanks,

CW

Wouldn't a post here help more people?

Or do you charge? =)

please see my sig, md... does '100% free' tell you anything?...

the material i have that i send to mentees is fairly lengthy and i don't post it, just forward it...

and i can't help someone write a query in a post... a lot more goes into crafting a good one, than just following one template or another...

i help and mentor writers one-on-one, which can't be done in a forum... sorry i don't have a one-size-fits-all quick-fix that can be posted here, but there is no such thing...

hugs, maia

I meant more along the lines of general guidelines than a one-size-fits-all - like /all/ the advice here, it'll never write the thing for you.

As for the charge, I shall refrain from jesting 'till I've been around long enough for people to be a bit more relaxed about it, neh? ;)
