Request Writers
Good Day,
Not sure where this goes, but have a proposal... Looking for writers who would be interested in writing articles on Travelling for a website. This would be entirely volunteer, but could lead to freelance work, great exposure, and great practive.

Nope! What you read it the compensation is in the way of exposure and practice. Many a literary journal will offer nothing more than that and possibly copies of the journal. |

Ha, yes, thank you cyberspector...
I understand Delight that this is a writing forum, but maybe you should check out a reading forum before you try to downgrade my offer...
Great exposure... in time, any articles on my site could reach as much as 500 active readers (not just visitors) and would be featured in newsletters sent out to members of the site... Great exposure, and like I said, has great chance of leading to something more in the way of compensation...
Anyone interested? No experience needed, just a creative and active mind...

Indeed, and I have been published in literary journals that pay in nothing but contributor's copies, but those are well-established and respected literary journals that I have been satisfied with on other levels. I'm not sure if a nameless 'travel website' could even garner such a comparison.
Further, if you deal with inquiries about your site with snarky comments insinuating that my reading skills need improvement, that speaks volumes about your integrity and professionalism. |

What did I say? I do not need your contributions in any way shape or form. I already received 4 people interested in writing for me just to gain experience. Some people do not expect as much as you do.
