Preditors & Editors Poll Results!

Lost In The Dark submitted their site, in the annual Preditors and Editors poll, in three catagories.

The site ranked 14th for Fiction Zines
6th for Zine Art (April 2004)
3rd in Poetry Zines!

http://www.critters.org/predpoll/tally.html

As I am Poetry Editor of that site and prior to that had three poems accepted for publication, I consider this a ringing endorsement of the job I am doing as well as the calibre of my poetry.

Note: In the first edition, (Spring 2004) my poem, Owl at the Oak was the only one accepted.

Well done! Congrats on the win. As a previous P&E winner (Lit.Org - Truly Useful Site Award) I can say it's a pretty cool nod to be recognized that way.

Great job!

I have to hand it to Athena for even knowing about this poll. There were 24 entries so coming in 3rd wasn't too shabby at all!

Other notables from the forums and LitOrg are there too! Bob Callaci (twice!) - Claire - Bart & Odysseus all have poetry at Lost In The Dark. Now that I am Poetry Editor I've taken myself out of the hopper because ... well .. just because is all.

Now, for each poem accepted, Athena pays $2.00. I think that's very cool of her. It was great to get in on the ground floor and I really enjoy doing my bit as editor too. I've even received thank you's from writers who's work was rejected because they found my feedback helpful.
