Compiling a Short Story ebook, with profits going to charity

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in an idea I've had....

Basically, I'd be putting together an ebook for sale through my site (and ebay) which would be a selection of 10 new short stories (not published elsewhere). Each author involved would get a portion of the money made (after ebay & paypal fees etc) and the remainder would be donated to Tsunami Appeal. Of course, authors would have the option to give their portion to charity also, which would be fantastic

e.g.
10 authors = 10 stories
ebook priced at £2.99 each
from each ebook, each author gets 15p (unless they choose to donate it), 30p goes towards ebay fees and 30p goes towards Paypal fees with the remaining 89p is donated. If sold through the website, the donation would be higher...

Don't worry, each story will have a copyright disclaimer, plus any author bio you require. Also, the ebook will be in PDF format (password protected if I can), so buyers will not be able to change anything.

If anyone is interested in putting forward a story to be considered, please let me know either here, or by emailing marc(at)short-story.net. Help with organising/promoting would also be much appreciated

Hi, Marc, what a very helpful thing for you to do. I'd be interesting in submitting a short story. Would you let me know where to submit it. Thanks much.

Warm regards, Susie

Hi Susie,

thanks for the submission! I'll hopefully collect a few and start deciding which to include in the compilation. There's a couple of authors from our site that are writing stories for it as we speak
