AskewView Monthly is an online newsletter devoted mostly to filmmaker Kevin Smith, View Askew Productions, and pop culture in general. We update monthly and unfortunately, we haven't been able to post a new issue since September for lack of articles being submitted. We accept articles that fit under the View Askew umbrella or pop culture. If you have an idea, but don't know if it would fit on our site, feel free to email me and I can let you know.
This site is a labor of love, so unfortunately there is no compensation for an article being published at this time. Periodically we have run contests on certain themes, however our most recent contest has ended. We are not officially affiliated with View Askew Productions or Kevin Smith. As I said, this is a labor of love from some loyal fans.
So if you have any article ides and would like to write an article for AskewView Monthly we'd love to publish it. Please email all submissions to

If you don't have the time to write for us but would like to help us out and give others the opportunity, please email me if you would be willing to post flyers in the film/theatre/creative writing departments of your schools. Let me know and I can email you a PDF of a flyer to post up.
