Payment: All authors will share 80% of the profit

Personally this sounds amazingly shady. I'd have to see some more details. E.g. what my right are, how it will be published etc etc.

I'm 17, capable writer although I don't have any qualifications other than my almost finished Australian high school education.

I agree, SoulSprinner. It disturbs me that there's no website, and although they mention "profit" they don't really elaborate on where it's coming from...

Ok here's the deal. I probably shouldn't have posted any advertisement for this yet, but we (meaning the other ediotr and I) wanted to try and get some stories to work with and to include in the proposal to the publishers that we have selected.

We want to publish this anthology in hardbound form. We plan on splitting 80% of the profits me make with the authors. A website is still in development, the other editor is working on it and it should soon be finished.

Do you guys got any ideas on how I can make this sound less scammy? We really do have pure intentions with this and think it would be fun to do.

Write it yourself? Outline our rightes and put it into a legally solicted document. Only a complete moron would hand over work to you simply because you asked for it and intend on sharing 80% of the profits with us.
