Fillerlady (Suzan if I may be so bold), is there any way I could get a sample of your poetry? I'm curious, thats all. Thanks.

Hi, Nobles

Thanks much for asking. Here's a sample of one of my poems. Hope you like it. I write different types too, such as non-rhyming, haiku, etc. And feel free to call me susie or fillerlady. I go by both.

warm regards, susie (fillerlady)
-------

"Home Sweet Home"

Was it the "Home Sweet Home" plaque
That was tacked upon the wall?
No, it wasn't that plaque
Which made our home the best of all.

It was all the cherished love,
And the special laughter
That would linger in my mind
Then and foreverafter.

It was because of my sweet mom
And the way she showed she cared
That our home was filled with song
From the happiness we shared.

The "Home Sweet Home" plaque
Was just a symbol of mom's love.
Making pungent mem'ries
That we would always think of.

Pungent

Heh, Pungent. What a great word.

Thank you for responding Susie, I like the poem.
Do you work in different rhyme schemes as well?
I like to see what exotic rhyme schemes people can come up with, call it a hobby. :)

I had just kept reading about your poetry so I was quite curious about it, thank you for indulging me.

Some call me...Ben, the, well, Sorcerer has been so over used, maybe Bard.. :)

It's been a pleasure, good poetry always is.

Hi, Ben, thanks much for the kind compliment about my poetry. I write whatever comes into my head. I was wondering where you heard about my poetry. Was it just from this site? If you ever need a poem for someone special, just let me know. My rates are cheap.

Regards, susie (fillerlady)
