Talented Tech Writer Seeks Web Work and Thoughts!

Name: Mitch Keeler
E-Mail: mitch@mitchkeeler.com
Web site: http://www.mitchkeeler.com

In the world of technology and information, people can become confused and bewildered by the jargon that is told to them.

I feel like with the combination of my writing skills and love of technology that it is my duty to cure the world of the questions they might have. Folks deserve to get the most out of technology, and I am here to make sure that happens.

Writing is something I have always enjoyed for a number of years. Ever since my grade school days I have been writing short stories. Around two years ago, while working for a web hosting company, I decided I could probably do pretty well as a technical writer.

In doing so, I have been able to mix my love of the written word along with my love for helping people with their problems. Feel free to get a hold of me anytime! I am always looking for more places to help out and work on.

The Job I Would Like to Find:

I would like to find more article work or content writing to do for any or every Web site online that would have me as a part of their team. My average asking price for articles is around $10 to $15 per 500 words or per page. As you can see that price is under the average price you would see from somebody with my experiance. However I do not belive in cheating a company because I want to claim creative greatness over anybody else. I am free most afternoons and nights, seven days a week to work.

About Mitch Keeler:

Mitch's Past
Actually I would best describe myself as pretty easy going and always willing to lend a hand to folks who need it. Graduated high school back in 2001, and since then have been keeping myself busy with mostly freelance writing and geek work.

I have found some places better to work than others. I can not really complain too much because no matter what I have always been able to learn a little something along the way. From my education on web hosting managers to my knowledge that some web hosts will cheat you any time they get the chance, it has all been worth it.

Mitch's Present
Currently I am doing freelance writing for a number of web hosting and technology based Web sites. Also, I do some moderation on various web hosting forums around the World Wide Web. If you have something else in mind you belive I would be suited for, feel free to contact me.

Mitch's Future
In the future, I would like to get more of my written work published. Putting together a book or move on to writen magazine work is something I would really like to do, once I can find the chance to do it. Hopeuflly I can keep expanding my own knowledge so that I can keep helping others do the same.

Feedback:

"My September 2003 interview with Mitch Keeler was one of the best interviewee experiences I have had. Mitch posed some questions that delightfully strayed from the 'norm', which I found to be very refreshing. I liked that I was given ample time to thoughtfully respond to his queries and his interview manner was charming and endearing."

Hi.
For anyone wanting some leads for possible tech writing opps, I'd heartily recommend browing the freelancewriting.com site, and also checking the boards at Monster.com and CareerBuilder, as well. Do a keyword for writer or technical writer and you're likely to find all the opportunities to help that you think of.

Just a thought. Nice to know we have a tech expert on board! Hope to see ya around.
