“New York City: Transplantation” is an essay contest sponsored by www.NYNewcomer.net, a community dedicated to the bruising, transcendent experience of being new to NYC.

Submit your personal New York story. How you came to New York City. Why you left. Words of wisdom, cautionary tales. New York love stories and the all-new New York lows.

Three essays will be selected for publication and a cash prize. (1st place: $100, 2nd place: $50, 3rd place: $25). Winners will be given the opportunity to read/perform at a casual, intimate venue TBA in Manhattan.
