I'm new to WritingForums, but have been quite intrigued by a lot of what I've read on it in recent days. Noting your contest participation, and our focus on helping new writers develop an audience, I wanted to share with you all that my publising house is currently co-sponsoring a novel writing contest with a fellow online writing group. The contest is open to all, and no entry fee is required. The winner's book will be published this fall in cloth-bound hardcover, with a full marketing and promotion package.
This contest is for previously unpublished authors, who already have a completed MSS 70,000 - 125,000 words in length, in one of the genres of: Mystery-Suspense, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Horror, or Romance. A Book Proposal is required, and full submission guidelines, eligibility reqruiements, and instructions are available on our website (
www.archebooks.com). The deadline for submissions is June 15, 2004, so if anyone is interested in participating, I invite you to please check it out soon.
If you don't have a completed MSS right now, we plan on doing this as an annual event, so mark it on your calendars for next year.
