2004 Novel Writing Contest

Hi All,

I'm new to WritingForums, but have been quite intrigued by a lot of what I've read on it in recent days. Noting your contest participation, and our focus on helping new writers develop an audience, I wanted to share with you all that my publising house is currently co-sponsoring a novel writing contest with a fellow online writing group. The contest is open to all, and no entry fee is required. The winner's book will be published this fall in cloth-bound hardcover, with a full marketing and promotion package.

This contest is for previously unpublished authors, who already have a completed MSS 70,000 - 125,000 words in length, in one of the genres of: Mystery-Suspense, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Horror, or Romance. A Book Proposal is required, and full submission guidelines, eligibility reqruiements, and instructions are available on our website (www.archebooks.com). The deadline for submissions is June 15, 2004, so if anyone is interested in participating, I invite you to please check it out soon.

If you don't have a completed MSS right now, we plan on doing this as an annual event, so mark it on your calendars for next year.

And good luck to all,
