Press Release

Lo Gap Media Opens New Affordably Priced Voice Studio for Independent Authors of Short Stories and Poems.

Clinton, Arkansas, March 2, 2004 - Lo Gap Media with their location in Central Arkansas is excited about their new service to independent authors. This service allows authors of all genres to finally have their work brought to a new media. One that, in the past, they may have only hoped they could afford. Short stories and poems are read and professionally recorded to audio CD in the small but well equipped studio of Lo Gap Media.

Kevin and Kat Yares, owners, of Lo Gap Media culminate their years of experience in the creation of each Audio CD produced. Kat Yares, an accomplished author of many short stories, published an anthology of works in the printed form. Kevin Yares wanted to bring new "Life" into Kat's stories by exposing the work to a new, but yet solid media; Voicing the work and then recording it to an Audio CD. "The results were utterly outstanding and the quality we are able to produce is Crystal Clear." quotes Kevin. "Having spent 15 years in the Engineering field and concerning myself with Computer Controlled Machines makes the equipment operation like second nature in our small but well equipped studio."

Kat and Kevin both agree that there are a few other studios out there producing audio CD's for authors. "Of course this must not be their primary task. Judging from their pricing structure they must have a very high overhead." Kevin says. "They certainly must have a high quality to their work (other studios) on the same line we are able to achieve the same caliber in our recordings here at Lo Gap Media." Affordable pricing structure is what sets Lo Gap Media apart from other studios and a customization to Authors of Short Stories and Poems. "We understand the excellence of work that is out there from the Independent Writer." Kat elaborates. "What we want to able to do for them is bring their written voice to a new media of being truly heard."
