Firstwriter.com

I just stumbled upon this site yesterday, and found a couple contest listings (for the U.S.) that interested me. The thing is, I was wondering how trustworthy it is. Has anybody had any experience wtih it at all? Do share! Thanks in advance for any info

I checked out FirstWriter.com and it's rather confusing. I did some searching through say the agents section and the only way you can find any detailed information is if you pay for it. Sounds like an elusive scheme to me.

Can recommend firstwriter.com

I've been signed up with firstwriter for ages (even though I only meant it to be for one month) and it's brilliant - especially the comps section, which I'd say is the best on the net (though I use it more for looking for agents). It's updated every day and you can even choose to have the new comps emailed straight to your inbox, which is a really cool feature.

I don't know what that other person meant by elusive scheme. Most pay-to-view sites (which, let me tell you from long experience, are the only really good ones, for kind of obvious reasons - you get what you pay for) don't let you search until you pay. At firstwriter you can see exactly what's there BEFORE you sign up - makes things much clearer if you ask me.
