Hi guys, I'm new here.
I've been driving myself insane trying to remember the name of a resource that I once read about, and if anyone here could tell me what it is I would be most grateful.
There are a series of books (like an annual or an almanack) that has pages laid out in table form, and basically for each day of the year (I may have that wrong, it may just be weekly etc.) it tells you what was number one in the charts, what films were on at the cinema etc.
I read about it in a book on writing as an invaluable resource for character creation, as it gives you an idea of what you character grew up with, what they would have listened to, seen on tv etc.
I am also pretty sure that I remember checking it out on Amazon, but have tried all sorts of searches and can't find anything of the sort.
Rather stupidly, I have forgotten both the name of the annual as well as which book I read about it in!
If anyone could put me out of my misery I'd be very happy!
Cheers,
Woody
