    Fantasy Writing Contest (Fantasy-Faction Anthology)

Been trying to decide what section to post this in... hope this is OK! Well, I'm a huge fan of these forums, so it is with great pleasure that I am finally able to post something that is hopefully interesting to you guys and something that, with any luck, a few of you fantasy writers would like to be involved with:

The Fantasy Writing Contest Opens 1st February 2012-20th June 2012

The Fantasy Writing Contest is a writing contest open to anyone who can write English Prose. We are looking for Fantasy short stories of up to 8,000 words and they can be within any sub-genre. Should your entry be chosen, not only will you win a fantastic prize (cash and trophies are amongst those on offer), but you will also feature within 'The Fantasy-Faction Anthology' alongside authors such as Myke Cole, Mark Lawrence, Jon Sprunk and many more besides!

You can find out more about it at: www.fantasywritingcontest.com

Thanks in advance and any questions... shoot me a message!

This is a contest I plan on entering but I thought it important to note, there is no cost to enter.
They offer a guaranteed feedback for a fee. (ie you did't win, but they tell you what they thought of it etc.)

no more then 8000 words. (recommend no fewer then 3000 per response to a question but not required.)

Opened Feb 1st, closes June 30.

I have not entered, I do not know anyone that has entered this contest past or currently, so I am only relating what I have read on the mentioned website.

There is 6 publication openings for the contest. (I guess 3 gets printed without a cash prize?)

I think that I might give it a whirl, although I've never been one for fantasy.

First time for everything, and it sounds like a giggle.
    Insert profundity here.
