List of Indie Books and Authors - Welcome to join.

Just started this Indie Books and Authors page. Feel free to join; the aim is to promote quality Indie books.

I'd like to build this list so please do send me an email with:
126 pixel width thumb of your book cover. links to your web site or blog and where to get the book.
I'd also like a copy of your book, preferably in mobi format. I'm not going to be vetting for grammar or punctuation - I will be looking at typos and overall professionalism. So if you've got a ton of typos, the book has a terrible cover and the formatting is awful, then I will send you a polite email suggesting that you fix those things before it will go up on the site.

Over time I am hoping to get interaction between the Indie Reviewers List, and the Indie Books and Authors list.

Disclaimer: I do not accept any money off authors or reviewers for a listing.

    Thanks.

What are you doing to promote the site and get reviewers to read the books? You say on the site that you hope, in time, for reviews from the people on the sites listed. Are you sending out copies of books for review?

No I'm not. What I have noticed is quite a few people happy and willing to review books. SO I put a page together that made a list of those sites and people. Now I have the beginnings of a list of books and authors. I tweet, blog and push both to Facebook and other social media. SO far the books I've promoted are all available for download; so no need to send out copies. Each authors link, links back to the author. Should a reviewer contact an author via my site, or vice versa - great. That's all.

I think it's great to have another site that allows writers to promote their work. My experience of reviewers is that they don't go searching for stuff. They don't need to.

Are you saying that you're giving free downloads of the books? I think that's questionable if a writer is trying to sell a book. Digital sales are a big part of the market these days.

I agree with your experience. What I am hoping for is that the authors will contact the reviewers. If they're successful in getting a review, I hope then that they'll tell me about it and I can link to that review next to the author's listing. That's all.

I must stress that I am just a writer helping other writers have another space to put their books. Some books are free by the authors choice - either way I play no part in that decision, it's entirely up to the author. All I am doing is putting up a page that showcases Indie books and their authors. It's free and if just one author gets a reader out of it - then it worked .

Like I said, another place for writers to promote their work can't be a bad thing. The site seems pretty well set up and you have some good links there. I'll forgive you for including AW and missing us out

Eek! Fixed. Sorry about that. I do try to pay back, and forward, when I can. I've benefited a great deal from this forum. Thanks for pointing that miss out.

Just made the process of getting your book list a little easier. Now you can just upload without having to send me an email.

The link to upload your book is here.
