Greetings. I'm new here, and fairly new to writing in general. I've taken a couple of online classes, but I really want to meet and network with other aspiring local writers. The problem is, I have no idea how to go about this.

Are there any good online resources to help local writers find one another? Or perhaps an alternative to a writing group I'm not thinking of? If it helps, I live in the Oklahoma City area, and mostly write Sci-Fi. If someone who has jumped through similar hoops in the past could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
