Thread: SB Publishing

Has anyone heard of them? They are offering a joint venture publishing opportunity. I've not heard of them and not sure if this a just a scam.

Joint venture means you pay. Not necessarily a scam, but it's vanity by another name.

Agreed with Mike C. No real traditional publishers will ask authors to pay or underwrite any money.

I agree they are a vanity publisher. I chose to use them because they weren't charging that much to get my book of poems published and I'm too busy to self-publish. So far, they have been ok. They have sent me my edited book for review - so it does look like they actually do some literary work, as claimed. However, I googled strategic book publishing, which I gather is the same as SB Publishing, and the criticism of the company didn't look pretty! I think i'd of taken more time researching companies, if I'd seen the blogs ... anyone else out there with any more information?
