downloading font
I've reached a part of my story where the character comes across writing scribbled on a wall - cliche, yeah, yeah - anyway I don't have this font on Microsoft word and really don't want to hand-draw it onto the page. BTW the writing isn't in English, it's more like symbols
I found a site that lets you download free fonts but can't get it onto MS font list.
Anyone ever do this or done this before?
This is the site
Search Free Fonts - over 13,000 free fonts available for download

download the font, unzip it if necessary, then you need to move it to your fonts folder, which should be c:/windows/fonts so you go to my computer, click c drive, then look for the windows folder, open that, look for the fonts folder, open that and either drag and drop or cut and paste the font files into that directory.

generally when you "extract" in winzip it asks where to put the extracted file.
Go to you C or main drive, Windows, Fonts and open it there, which should place a .ttf file you will see on Word after you reboot.
If you're using windows, etc, etc.
