    The Grumpy Corner.

Are you feeling grumpy ? Is life getting you down ? Tell us on a scale of one to ten how grumpy you feel ?

One being mildly grumpy / Ten being boiling point and beyond.

I myself feel fine just now everyone is either in bed asleep or out of the house...... just bliss

I can't say I'm feeling grumpy today. I hardly ever feel grumpy. I am feeling cloudy today, if you know what I mean. And on that scale you mentioned... I say I'm feeling it at about an 8.

Is it all the Christmas shopping keeping you in bliss as well Blues? Lol

1000000/10. My grandfather died this morning, and like I said in the change yourself thread, I bottle up my feelings. I don't know when, but someday soon, I'm going to erupt more violently than Krakatoa.

I'm sorry beanlord... it's hard to lose a grandparent. I've lost all of mine now. I know how you're feeling. Just allow yourself to feel what you feel, and that's okay if you're angry.

You people don’t know the meaning of grumpy. There are only two things preventing me from providing details; the first is not knowing where to start, the second is the limit on character count.

I'm not grumpy today. I've actually had a rather pleasant day, complimented by me getting to piss off a debt collector who tried to make me grumpy. He was pretty grumpy when he hung up on me though.

Sorry about your loss, beanlord. I've lost two, and it's hard at times but that's the way of life. Time is the best healer, they say. I wish strength for you in this trying time.

    Was a 4/10 earlier, I suppose.

But now I have tomorrow off, so a 1/10 at the moment.

A free Friday is better than an entire weekend, really.
    Insert profundity here.

I'm grumpy. 10/10. I started work on a GSA (gay-straight alliance) newsletter, got it completed design wise and mostly filled with content, only needed two articles to be submitted before the full publication could be mass printed. Then, the Center Director at my Uni steps in and says we need to fuse with the already existing general newsletter of our Uni, and they don't want us a part of their newsletter, so they've taken our 6 page newsletter and reduced it to one, single, tiny article.

Circulate your own then as an independent student publication.

I'm pretty grumpy every morning -- or as my wife says -- "crabby" or some variation of that -- "Mr. Crabs" or "Crab Cakes" or the "Abominable Crab Man." It's weird -- as long as I'm still in bed, I'm fine. My wife and I often lie in bed and chat etc. and I seem to be in a perfectly good mood. As soon as I get up, I go into grumpy mode -- until I've had a chance to drink a couple of cups of coffee and really wake up. My wife and kids know it's best to just not talk to me until I've been up for an hour or so.
