    If you could change

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? It could be one thing, or who knows, maybe you have 10 or 20 things you'd change.

My first would be, that I would stop putting everyone else's feelings ahead of my own.

Second, I would learn how to say no when I want to say no, instead of saying, "Oh yeah, for sure!"

Third, I would stop feeling guilty about everything, and realise it's okay to feel the way I want to.

Fourth, Stick to my guns. (I'll say I'm going to do something, or I'm never going to do something ever again... and then I'll feel guilty, and I'll do what I said I wasn't going to, or I won't do what I said I was going to.)

“And now I’m looking at you,” he said, “and you’re asking me if I still want you, as if I could stop loving you. As if I would want to give up the thing that makes me stronger than anything else ever has. I never dared give much of myself to anyone before – bits of myself to the Lightwoods, to Isabelle and Alec, but it took years to do it – but, Clary, since the first time I saw you, I have belonged to you completely. I still do. If you want me.” ― City of Glass by Cassandra Clare.

Sounds very much like someone with their Sun in Libra says my astrologer friend.

    1. Be more "social." I've been working on this but it's really hard for me. For one thing, I'm really shy, for another, I'm pretty honest. I don't know when it's appropriate to lie/act a certain way, which tends to make people not like me.

    2. Not care so much what other people think. I've been getting a lot better at this.

    3. Be braver and smarter.

    4. Be more expressive with my opinions/feelings.

    My sex.

Though, if I had to stay male and United Statesian, I would have changed my racial makeup and ethnicity prior to conception. But things aren't all bad, right? Got Tiger Woods, Halle Berry, Maria Carey etc. today, making mixed-race the new "cool" and in-style thing. So maybe I'm cool.

I'd like to be a much taller man though. And have an impressive physique to go along with that. I would like to be more heartless too, it would make life easier in Milwaukee.

I'm also a Mentor. What does that mean? It means if you have any questions, all you have to do is ask me. My job is to help you feel comfortable here. (The mods' job is to take away cookies as punishment. Twisted fiends.)

My anger. I bottle it up inside and explode violently on anyone who tries to calm me down.

I'd probably want to alter my beauty. At first, the love letters and flowers were nice, but now it's just encumbering. I'm just too damn sexy.

I spend far to much time doing what i shouldn't do, and not enough time doing what i should do. So i would more of what i should and less of what i shouldn't do. I think thats right !!!

    Laser-beam eyes.

If that's too much to ask, then I'd ask to have narrower shoulders so that at least some clothes fit me properly.

    I wouldn't change a goddamn thing.

Everything in life to me is a valuable experience, including my mistakes and imperfections. Not being flawlessly good looking taught me how to be charming, how to not take things for granted, to expand my interests and invest not only more time into my own personality and character, but invest more interest in that of others.

My mental disorder taught me the real importance of real discipline. It forced me to build a will made out of adamantium that occasionally growls like a tiger. It taught me self control and when to have it, and when to let it go.

The mistakes I've made in treating women taught me how to treat women, they also taught me a lot about myself and what I want.

All my horrible experiences that weren't my fault? They forced me to look inside and see what I really valued, what I cared for and what I believed. In a time where I wouldn't stand up to anyone all the terrible crap I had to go through made me stand up and defend what I believed.

I'm unbelievably proud of who I am, and where I've been, and I'm proud of the mistkaes I'll make, and the things I will experience, and one day I hope I can pass on this little tidbit of wisdom onto someone else.
