    Backing Tracks General.

    Hello ladies,

I was wondering if any of the more musically inclined here could give me a hand with something.

You see, I recently lost my laptop, and while I've replaced it with a better machine, there's something on it that I lost that is going to take me more time and money to replace that what I'm really willing and able to give right now.

Backing tracks, I had dozens of backing tracks I was send, bought, made etc.

So I'm really hurting right now without anything solid to improvise on and so here I am, asking for your help.

    What am I looking for?

    1. Ballad tracks. Rock/metal ballads, jazz/blues ballads(this is sort of under control) and power ballads. I'm a "only if it works" kind of musician so ballads are pretty much my favourite thing to improvise over.
    2. Metal backing tracks, metal is my predominant genre so some good metal tracks would be good, I generally delve into all styles (thrash, heavy, prog etc) so anything would be appreciated.
    3. Anything that is pure quality, the style doesn't matter, if its one of those tracks full of groove and power then I'll love it.

This is mainly for guitar improvisation since it's my main instrument, I'm extremely technically profficient and I have tons of theory and good pitch under my belt, so I'm not too worried about stuff like outside harmony or difficult chord changes.

    Thanks for your time.

Hi, I found a site a while back called 'unsigned.com' which had a whole lot of free-ish music on to browse. Otherwise grooveshark lets you stream any track you like for free as well. Good luck reinstating your collection.
