    The Time Has Come

It's been something of a wait, but the electronic version of my novel, Dereliction of Duty, hits the Amazon shelves this Tuesday. It's priced at the low-low cost of £1.50. To those who offered to beta-read, you'll be getting copies whenever you check your PM boxes.

In less than 48 hours, I can finally tick one box off my lifetime to-do list.

Looks like I was wrong. Also, apologies, it actually works out at £1.75 including VAT.

Congratulations on getting it out there, Sam. Don't forget to promote it on the BB forum.

    Congrats, Sam.

I don't have a kindle but I bookmarked the page anyways. Never know what I might have in the near or distant future.

You're book doesn't come in paper back edition also? I've seen kindles and I'm impressed with them but I'm not sure how well I could take to reading a whole book electronically like that. Of course, I've never done it, so, I can't really know I wouldn't like it or not.

But congratulations again. I hope your book does well. Better yet would be for you to become a big time author. Then I can say I know a famous author. At least online.

    Hmm... didn't know that.

Sam, now that I have a modest income, and assuming I don't end up in jail or something like that anytime soon, then I intend on ordering your paperback in January or so. Good luck.

If you're in the money, Writ, you can buy mine too. I guarantee you'll get the same special consideration you've always got.

Just thought I'd let you know I've bought a copy and will hopefully get stuck into it over some chocolate Shreddies come the morn -- a bargain at £1.72 I'm sure you'll agree (the book, not the cereal). Nice one Sam. The fact you've written a book is commendable enough, no matter how many times you've done it before, but to have it published as well must be the greatest feeling in the world. I'm impressed -- that's really something to be proud of.

No matter what happens, I think you can look in the mirror every morning and say "I bloody did something!".

I wish you all the luck a boy can possibly muster. Good luck infinity times ten!

On a side note: Those last five words, coupled with my planning to eat chocolate Shreddies a day in advance, probably hints at my age fairly obviously, eh?

Thanks, Bruno. I feeling stoked right about now, yeah. Can't believe it's finally all done. Now all that's left is the paperback version. It'll be great to see my name on the bookshelves. Thank you for buying. We didn't want to go too high on the first pricing, so £1.72 is something of a bargain for sure. I hope you enjoy the read.

    Writ, that's fine. No worries.

    Congratulations, Sam.
