Question Unusual Food Combinations You Enjoy

When I was little, I used to eat Oreo cookies and Jello. Even today, when I have one or the other by itself, I crave the other.

Anyone else eat strange combinations of food?

An Oreo in one hand, Jello in the other and a bite of each together.

Eggs and picante sauce --fried, scrambled or as an omelet ingredient.

Joe - What's unusual about eggs and picante sauce? You can't eat eggs without some kind of pepper, either fresh or in a sauce. My favourite sauce with eggs is Marie Sharp's Fiery Hot habanero sauce, though technically it's not a picante, being flavoured with pureed carrot rather than tomato. The other ingredients are onion and garlic, as required by law. Marie Sharp is made in the Stann Creek Valley of Belize and is available in many supermarket chain atores in the U.S., U.K., and Japan.

Personally I prefer fresh pepper to a sauce. Chip up one or two habanero peppers - Scots Bonnet is best, though I also like West Indian Red - along with chipped up onion and garlic. Fry lightly in oil until the onion clarifies, then break two eggs into the pan, scramble, and sprinkle salt, if desired.

Whether fresh or in a sauce, pepper in fried eggs is no only usual, but is required if the eggs are to have any taste.

I enjoy dipping mcdonalds chicken nuggets into their strawberry shakes. It's really, really good. Havn't done it in awhile though.
Chocolate and ham as well. when I was younger I used to eat time out bars wrapped in ham.

    Mountain Dew and lemonade mixed.

I've heard of beer and gatorade mixed too.

Sheesh, you limies need to travel more.

Mountain Dew is like Sundrop. If you don't have Sundrop, MD is a sweet soda. Orange Juice is used in the production.

Gatorade is a sports drink (note, not energy drink), comes in a variety of flavors.

Casual racism is sweeter than any Mountain Dew I've had .

I think Gatorade is pretty much the same as Lucozade, but Gatorade isn't fizzy . . . I think.
