Do you have any songs that send chills down your spine because of the message, the right chords within the music, or something else?
I have quite a few, but this is in the top:
Dang, no matter how many time I hear it, it still gives me goosebumps.

I prefer songs that sing to me. Unless you're talking about rap or hip hop. I do like some of that.
"Some people call me the space cowboy, some call me the gangster of love."
-- Albert Einstein
"I am really only interested in a fiction of miracles."
-- Flannery O'Connor
This song speaks to me more deeply and profoundly than any other I've ever heard.
Steven Curtis Chapman - Magnificent Obsession
If we're just talking music, the lead singer's voice and the incredible brass sections of this one give me chills every time.
Delain - Pristine

En Vogue- MY LOVING
Any song speaks to me but this guy knows how to get the message across. Sean Mullins
In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird that sings.
Sometimes all our thoughts are misgiven.
Those were all interesting.
Here's a band with a little less screaming than what I usually listen to. They also happen to be my favorite.

Without God, all is night, and with him light is useless. - Emil Cioran
The quote below was a comment from a fan on youtube and i couldn't put it better myself
When you die and go to heaven, and you are in the elevator that goes up to heaven, this is the elevatorsong.
In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird that sings.
Sometimes all our thoughts are misgiven.
September Song
Oh, it’s a long long while from May to December,
But the days grow short when you reach September.
When the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame
And you ain’t got time for waiting game.
When days dwindle down to a precious few,
September, November.
And these few golden days I’d share with you,
These golden days I share with you.
When you meet with the young girls early in the Spring,
You court them in song and rhyme.
They answer with words and a clover ring,
But if you could examine the goods they bring,
They have little to offer but the songs they sing
And the plentiful waste of time of day,
A plentiful waste of time.
Oh, it’s a long, long while from May to December,
But the days grow short when you reach September.
When the autumn weather turns the leaves to flame,
One hasn’t got time for the waiting game.
Oh, the days dwindle down to a precious few,
September, November,
And these few precious days I’ll spend with you,
These precious days I’ll spend with you.

Moonlight in Vermont
Pennies in a stream,
Falling leaves of sycamore,
Moonlight in Vermont.
Icy fingers wave,
Ski trails on a mountainside,
Snowlight in Vermont.
Telegraph cables,
They swing down the highway
And travel each bend in the road.
People who meet in this romantic setting
Are so hypnotized by the lovely
Evening summer breeze,
Warbling of a meadowlark,
Moonlight in Vermont.
Telegraph cables,
They swing down the highway,
And they travel each bend in the road.
People who meet in this romantic setting
Are so hypnotized by the lovely
Ev'ning summer breeze,
Warbling of a meadowlark,
Moonlight in Vermont.
You and I,
And Moonlight in Vermont.

Ev’ry mornin’ at the mine you could see him arrive
He stood six foot six and weighed two forty five
Kinda broad at the shoulder and narrow at the hip
And everybody knew ya didn’t give no lip to Big John.
(Big John, Big John) Big Bad John (Big John)
Nobody seemed to know where John called home
He just drifted into town and stayed all alone
He didn’t say much, kinda quiet and shy
And if you spoke at all, you just said "Hi" to Big John.
Somebody said he came from New Orleans
Where he got in a fight over a Cajun Queen
And a crashin’ blow from a huge right hand
Sent a Loosiana fellow to the Promised Land-Big John
(Big John, Big John) Big Bad John (Big John)
Then came the day at the bottom of the mine
When a timber cracked and men started cryin’
Miners were prayin’ and hearts beat fast
And everybody thought that they’d breathed their last-’cept John
Through the dust and the smoke of this man-made hell
Walked a giant of a man that the miners knew well
Grabbed a saggin’ timber, gave out with a groan
And like a giant oak tree he just stood there alone-Big John
(Big John, Big John) Big Bad John (Big John)
And with all of his strength he gave a mighty shove
Then a miner yelled out "There’s a light up above!"
And twenty men scrambled from a would-be grave
Now there’s only one left down there to save-Big John
With jacks and timbers they started back down
Then came that rumble way down in the ground
And then smoke and gas belched out of that mine
Everybody knew it was the end of the line for Big John
(Big John, Big John) Big Bad John (Big John)
Now they never reopened that worthless pit
They just placed a marble stand in front of it
These few words are written on that stand
At the bottom of this mine lies a hell of man,
Big John, Big Bad John.

"I keep on waiting, but it ain't easy, it ain't easy . . . But momma said, you can't hurry love, no you just have to wait, she said trust big time..."
It's a fun upbeat song you can dance to while feeling that way.
The story behind this song is pretty sad.
