So stoked to be writing again!

Regretfully, I haven't been writing since NaNoWriMo last year. I had to drop out when I got a great job, as the hours I was working took up much of my time. But good news: the economy crashed! Realizing that I couldn't afford my apartment anymore, I decided to downgrade my living expenses and quit my second job in order to have more free time in my life. So, I am now paying a 6th of what I was recently shelling out in bills, and now have more free money and time!

I have had a couple dozen days off in the last year, and had a hard time adjusting to having free time in my life. I have been going on adventures every day, practicing guitar again, and accidentally bought a composition book (I say accidentally, because apparently I bought it at the end of a long night of drinking). The composition book, being my forgotten best friend, is quickly filling up with ideas and outlines. I usually outline multiple projects at the same time, and draft whichever outlines are finished first.

I am staying pretty low-key in my town while I am in the process of moving out of my apartment and into my new place down the road, but I had to let my excitement out somehow, so thanks for listening, everyone! I look forward to being part of this community again!
I often find myself to be insanely jealous of my own life. I'm not quite sure what this means, but I know that it's nothing short of awesome!

    Congrats!

I just started writing again recently, too, so I know how excited you must be. It's been wonderful seeing the story progress again. The words have been flowing pretty freely for the most part, which is highly encouraging because I'd been so afraid of being "rusty."

A composition book sounds interesting. I've never used one. How are you liking it? Does it give you a structure for your story, or what? Maybe I'll give it a try.

    Ha! "Insanely jealous"?

You've no idea how great a life I've lived and how little I've deserved it. I'll wager you a bucket of beer with a side of clam chowder that I've had more fun that you!

Nice to see someone putting the enjoyment of life before money, i once herd a story about a guy who went up the social ladder with his girl friend and then lost all sight of happiness . Having lost everything now he is happy again, now he sits at the bottom of the social tree and when he looks up all he sees is assholes.
In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird that sings.
Sometimes all our thoughts are misgiven.
