Why did you do it?

The answer to that is a long and complex situation. Let's see...I guess you could say it all started around 1923 in the aftermath of the Mt. Etna explosion. My grandfather was working with the Italians, assisting with the cleanup efforts, when he discovered a plot to assassinate Pancho Villa, the governor of Chihuahua. Today, it is generally assumed that the Mexican government was responsible for Villa's death but that would be completely ignoring the German connection and sweeping most of the facts under the rug. Needless to say, my grandfather felt a responsibility to try to save the man's life, which is why he did what he did. It was a lesson learned by my father, who passed it on to me, and that...is why I did it.
