I don't know, last time the whip came out, I smiled, and number three on your list says I get laid when I smile.

You're not dumb, just a little overzealous perhaps At 15 though, your body retains a lot of its ability to heal, so take heart!

I've a stupid couple of questions,
    <*points at newb*
First: I noticed that you have some sort of ratings system going on (only because I notice that I have a neat little colored in box below my SN). How does that work?

Second: If I wish to submit poetry to be critiqued, do I submit it in the Poetry section or in the Critique and Advice section? I have critiqued a couple of pieces, but am afraid that I shouldn't have since they were not in the Critique and Advice.

Oh, and if there is a "Stupid Questions Thread for Newbs" already in place, then forgive me. I don't always look before I type. In fact I can't look away from the keyboard and type anything coherent.

Oh, and Good Morning to you all. I'll take a sandwich if you're still cooking.

when you accumulate a certain amount of posts, you become a certain level, such as 'ink slinger'. the gaps between levels get larger as you go on. (obviously, i've long since gone through all level changes)

it's a bit strange how that can work. i say to post directly in the poetry section as i prefer to think of the 'critique and advice' section as a place to address specific issues rather than just general commentary. plus, we poets must stick together, no?

naaaah. no problem. most people are more than happy to lend a hand to those starting out.

The posting thing though, is just a level, it's not important and doesn't make you any better of a writer, on the little "Ink Slinger" or whatever, it merely says you gotta lot of time. So I would recommend you forget about it and have a good time around here. No reason to shoot for the top, because this isn't a compitition.Oh, and morning all. I'd take that sandwitch, but I'd probably choke on it. Karma got to me. lol, dangit. Now my back is better, so Karma gave me the flu. Now I can't eat anything. Isn't that fantastic.
