Petaled leafs
Dashened Pink
Rosy white
Floral green
Loosened in fours
Upon its stalk
scented strength
fills up the air
Sweetened smell
There lay a bunch
A floral scene
Upon its waters
Or else indoors.

blue stars growing out of the dust,
delicate and tiny,
yet they live on,

having a go at poetry/prose/or whatever you would call my attempt!
And, sorry, I can't guess yours, Nacian, unless its a rose? but that seemed too obvious?
Thank you![]()
Hi Zedten..very sweet read there..is is a Bluebell?
Hi, no it's not, keep trying!was yours a rose?
Zedten,
Was it a forget-me-not?
A flower, eh?
Okay here's one I wrote a few years ago, I'll leave the give-away title off:
Fat red bloodsacs weigh on each arching stem
their heaviness pulling to the earth
purses open and dainty dancers spring along
each greened bough
a panoply of permanent pirouettes.
The dancers skirts fade and blemish
and each Columbine falls exhausted to lie
crushed and dead on dark hued earth
discarded partners to cruel Harlequin.

Hi Zedten my one is a lilly.![]()
Mine was Fuchsias:
Do we go again?
If we do, I'll have to think one up in a hurry, I think that fuchsias one is all I have ready done.
By the way is the point to be poetic, or accurate?
Just wondering...

Love Fuchias..so pretty.
I always think they are like little ballerinas, hence the Columbine and Harlequin connection.
I love the scent of fresh lilies. Heady.
Okay.... lets see...
Great high head, heavy with seed
Tall slim stem, strong in the wind
Petals; yellow, thin - long as a finger
Seeds set to dance to a Fibonacci tune
