    Chain Letters

A game based on the game show Chain Letters (1987-1997) which was hosted by many presenters including Jeremy Beadle, Ted Robbins, Allan Stewart and Dave Spikey.

The idea is to start with a word and change one letter each time. You cannot change one letter each time
Put the letter youve changed in BOLD

    EG

    lake
    sake
    save
    have
    hare
    harp
    carp
    cars
    caps
    cops
    cope
    rope
    ripe

    etc etc

    I'll start with:

    shoe

Are we stuck with four letter words, or can we add or subtract a letter?

I think people would start using plurals when they got stuck, rather than find another way around it with a tricky word.

It might happen a bit, but not every word has a plural, and that still leaves something by some one more imaginative to happen next, we could have separate threads for five and six letter words. What do you think Bipbop? It was your idea, Meanwhile

In the game show, no letters could be added or subtracted. Additionally, 'knot' cannot be changed to 'knob' because it is the last letter that has been changed.

'knot' could be changed to 'snot'. (tee hee immaturely funny!!)
