Sorry if this has been done, I couldn't "search" it
Every post is in the story. Make it count. Be respectful of others plots and choices, but be not afraid to add to them or redirect them. New characters, themes, and twists are welcomed: that's what we're here for. Try to type at least 1 paragraph per entry.. We'll start with this..

Were it to end like this Justice would be glad, especially since Cobby and Fern were on His side. Her hands wanted to tremble beneath and shake beneath the displays of cool and calm. The only pleasure of the moment for her was the concern riding on Cobby's mind. He wouldn't look straight at her, and standing like the storm she knew why.

There was something like this in Writing Challenges a while ago, but it fell out of use. Then there are RPGs as well, which are a little like this. I'm not really sure where to go with this... It's a tricky situation here. I'll give it a shot though.

"You know what has to be done, Fern." Justice tried to be the bold one; the one to carry the strength for all three of them and ride them through all obstacles that impeded the inevitable. But Justice could not hide the fear in his voice at the sight of the barrel lined - albeit shaking - with his forehead. He tried to follow the line of sight, as if an invisible thread would connect the bringer of death to it's target (Justice sure as hell knew there was a pull there, as if he couldn't bare to tug himself away from her aim and save himself. He was compelled to stay absolutely still, so that the bullet would penetrate straight into his brain).
