    No Duh (the)!

On this day, we hereby officially ban usage of this very familiar word 'the'.

This thread will not tolerate any usage of 'the' in any post.

This will be all you will ever hear of that word ever again.

I see; I understand. What is expected to be a topic of conversation, k3ng?

Anything your brilliant mind can think of. Perhaps coffee should be included in these conversations. Or snide political remarks. All are welcome.

We may need to establish a police force that patrols these quarters to find any who would defy our law.

I would like to offer my services as a member of this police force. I have my ways to make them pay for ever using such forbidden words.

I would very much enjoy some coffee right now. No, I kid; I don't like coffee. Nor tea (even though I am British). Just give me squash, or water.

Does anyone else like coffee, or tea?

    I like mine black.

Sometimes with cola. Ever tried coffee cola mix? It's delicious I tell you. I'm amazed it hasn't caught on as a more mainstream product yet.

You should try it. Trust me, you won't regret it. Or maybe you will. Apparently coca cola had a variant called 'coca cola Blak' which featured a coffee flavour. I want to get my hands on some.

I remember what we used to have as kids: coca cola float. Dollop of ice cream in a big glass of coca cola, with a cherry on top. Delicious! I used to feel like a real, world-class chef making one of those.

Why did they stop making Vanilla Cola?! I hear Pepsi still do it over in America, but here in England we're left with just normal ol' coke.

Oh, I'm jealous! Vanilla coke was just delicious! Only time I've ever liked flat coke is flat vanilla coke. I don't care about my waistline if it's drinking vanilla coke! Vanilla coke and Disaronno... Now THAT was nice!

That's right, I pay to be Baron's friend. Makes it sound like WritingForums is an escort service, doesn't it? Luckily, Baron was cheap

    "Floats"

One of my favorite childhood memories was going to a "dime store" or "drug store" (soda fountains) for "coke floats". A simple concoction of several scoops of vanila ice cream with Coke a Cola poured over it. Then you stired until your desired consisency was achieved.
