Thread: Create A Vision

((If I'm not allowed to post here, please let me know. Just thought this would be a fun idea for everyone!))

Welcome to Create A Vision! A very simple writing project for anyone with time to spare. The rules are as follows;

Follow the instructions below, and write a short story using the elements found on the 'Menu'. Be as creative, (or as un-creative) as you like!

Instructions

Choose 3 characters, 2 places, 2 things, and 1 mode of transportation from the Menu below. Write a short story that includes all of the chosen elements.

Also, the 'Mandatory situation' must happen or be spoken of before your story ends. Good luck.

There are 2 settings, but the story doesn't have to take place in them, no. They should both at least be mentioned, though. Include them in the most creative/effective way you can think of~

Just wondering... about how long would you like the stories to be? I'm not sure if short story means about 5 pages or 20.
So far I have written about 3 pages, and have a lot to go before my plot would be completed.

@ Catbehaviors: Go as long as you like, dear~ I put up 'short story' in case no one really wanted to get serious, or just had some extra time to kill. But if you want to run with it, you're green lit by me! My first CAV was around 8 pages which was wayyyy longer than I went in anticipating. So I know what you mean.

I'll try it out. When/where do we post?

Hey guys, this sounds like fun. Where do we post the story? Should we make a separate thread for the stories?

Sounds like fun. I'll try to get around to making a submission pretty soon.

Shame there's only seven interested parties over the course of nine months.

My submission:

Holy Hell! Great Wall!

"Dear God! It's an alien!"

"That's Mr. allen to you. Number six. combo. Credit?"

"Sorry. We don't serve your kind here. Got a green card?"

"Yeah, here's my green card. Right here."

"That's very disrespectful of you. Sir."

"The fuck you gonna do? Call the cops? I'll turn invisiray on your ass."

"Hey, chery'll, we got an illegal over here, call the IRG! Oh wait, never mind. He's gone."

Later that day, Amanda rode her bike to the inner city school yard. Two cats were scratching each other in a frenzy on the steaming black top. Poor kitties.

"Hey Amanda." It was a george. Mathew's crew had hung him up from the basketball rim by his chones again.

"Oh. hey Gorge. Gee, that looks uncofortable."

"Oh it's alright. Mathew says it's medicinal. By the way, you look very pretty today, amanda. Reminds me of my youth."

"Tee hee. You say some funny stuff, Gorge. Want me to get you down from there?"

"No, no. It's good for the circulation. I'll see you in school tommorrow, ok honey? Say hi to mathew for me, alright?"

"Ok, Gorge."

Then a man in a trenchcoat appeared from around the corner of a large building that bordered the blacktop.

"Hey you kids! You have green cards?"

"Green cards? This is america!" They both said in unison.

"America, eh?" The man chuckled, removing his trenchcoat, "Not anymore, fuckers. Now I need to see some ID."
