quick question on tense
Greetings Forum Friends,
, but not before creating a hidden back door so they could shut the weapon down if it was ever activated.
or
, but not before creating a hidden back door so they could shut the weapon down should it ever be activated.
I think the second one is right, but the first one sounds better. It's part of the short description in my query, so I think it should be written in the past tense.
Thanks in advance.
