Fare Thee Well
I think this may be farewell.
I’d like to thank those who suggested using quiet times for inspiration. I’d like to thank those who provided ideas about how to plan a story. I’d like to thank those who kept saying “arse on seat, fingers on keyboard, type.” And I’d like to thank ash for telling me I think too much. *bok bok*
I don’t know about you, but I perform better doing only one thing at a time.
So I’m out of here. I’ve got a book to write.
And as lin said it’s a solitary pursuit.
I might be back but don’t hold your breath.

Ox, I don't think you'll stay away...you love us all waaaay too much! And we can't have one of our most diligent forum slaves escaping!
Either way, I expect a signed copy of your book! And you have to admit that you knew me before fame fell on you like a Steinway in the grip of gravity.
*hugs*

WHAT? You're leaving?
Sorry, but you can't leave. You're part of the place. A fixture, if you will. And anyway, I'm sure it's in the rules... somewhere... Besides, we need you here!
Take some time off if you must, OX, but please do come back.

Ox man, this isn't right. Don't leave. This is a resource for you. If the fluff here is bothering you, limit yourself to the writers workshop where we can help you and you can help us with the curtains drawn. if you leave for real, you are losing some talented people who want to critique your work - as we/I want you to critique ours/mine.
Please rethink, bro

Only just got here, but I saw plenty of you around the forums and it's clear you helped a lot and were a strong part of this community.
Good luck, stranger.

I like you. You should stay, or at least come back later.

So take a week off and write your novel. What's the big deal.
( Oh, yeah, I'm on page 12 of mine ... after a month )

I'm sorry OX but we can not let you do that.
Hope your novel turns out and I hope next year I'll see a certain Australian author on the shelves!

Ox, there may have been a few choice words between us, but I still will be sad to see you go. You brought a certain something to the forum, although I'm not sure what.
Farewell.
Sam.
Edit: I retract this earlier statement, simply because Ox doesn't deserve a farewell.
