Jorge Luis Borges, who was blind, dictated all his writing. I'd be interested to know what his exact process was.
Dictated to a secretary, who read back to him. Jorge was an amazingly organized mind...not a "wait, scratch that type of dude."

But his blindness kept him from writing novels, which probably froze him out of the Nobel prize and a wider following.

His blindness did NOT keep him from being the "head librarian" of Argentina or even, during his disfavor during the Peron regime, from being chicken inspector.

I gave my copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking to my Daughter and Grandson. I found it cumbersome as I like to edit while I write. Something my mouth doesn't do (smile).

If someone is used to dictating, the program would be awesome for them. Me, I like the clicking of my keyboard.
