Plagiarism problem
My last three books have revolved around one thing - an anti-terrorist squadron tasked with the important mission of stopping terrorism in the States. It's a secretive squad, with two teams of soldiers gathered from the best anti-terror squadrons in the world - SAS, GSG-9, Navy SEALs, Delta Force, Force-Recon, etc... Anyone who into that sort of stuff will know that Tom Clancy wrote a novel, Rainbow Six, a few years back. That's exactly how his anti-terror team was made.
I've had the idea of creating an anti-terror team in my head from I started writing my first novel. I wanted to give my two main characters a team to work with. I've done that, but will it be seen as plagiarism? If so, what can I do? I really had hoped to base a series of books around this team.
