My spelling AND grammar are both flawless. I defy you to find a post of mine that contains an error that wasn't intentional.

Actually, so are a lot of people's.

Hey Clancy
I notice they're clever, and don't use one, but if they did, where would the apostrophe go in "Writers Forum"?

Such is the nature of humour, Ox. I didn't contradict myself, but offered two slightly differing definitions, one dictionary style, one my own. I was playing with the word, taking illiterate to mean incapable of producing literary writing, rather than just an inability to write. Most people have basic literacy skills, but many shouldn't bother picking up a pen.

"Writ'ers Forum"

That's if you take the one-apostrophe approach, but where's the creativity in that?

I think he's a Robert Jordan character.

I feel comforted by the thought that if I hadn't started this mess, someone else would have. Which doesn't mean I'm not sorry I did.

Uh...
George W. comparison.
He puts the pistol in his mouth...
I feel like D.B. Cooper just hijacked this thread.

No, I didn't know better. I'm an illiterate George W. who chokes on pretzels and occasionally walks into walls. I think that's been made perfectly clear.
