Where are all the writers?

I’m curious to learn if writers of any of the following are to be found on this site, and if so, where do they post?

Crime/detective/mystery stories

Epistolaries

Erotica

Family sagas

Legal thrillers

Medical thrillers

Parodies

Satires

Romance

Romance and Erotic are very very difficult to write. Either you look

a) Cheeeeeeeesy
b) Sex obsessed

Its a very difficult subject to do well.

I don't think Erotica is allowed on this site.

Don't ask me why.

I've written an epistolary, a satire and a romance and posted them here. (They went in the Writer's Workshop).

There's a fuzzy boundary around erotica. Sexual content's permitted within reasonable limits, but stories whose main point is sexual titillation aren't.

If you'd like to post or talk about erotica, I can recommend Literary Mary.

How about an 18+ forum for erotica advice and critiquing? That way only those who verified their age had access to it...or would that be too weird?

Ah, the innocence of youth.

Did I ever tell you I am really a long-legged nineteen year-old blonde Paris catwalk model? If I did, I’d have been lying. In fact, I’m really a smelly fifty-five year-old lumberjack from the backwoods of Manitoba.

When you invent the means whereby personal details are verifiable online, you’ll make a fortune, my son.

The thing about one's own site is that it's to some degree in the lap of the gods regarding how many readers will ever find it.

As an alternative, you could inspect, inwardly digest, and consider sites such as these, which cater to the depraved amongst us, and which therefore are assured of a readership of reasonable numbers.

Hoot Island - Fun for much of the whole family!

Or you could find others similarly slanted. It's amazing what turns up from searching a few key words in Google - the results of searches are limited only by your imagination.

Cheers

Manitoba, Australia?

asstr.org has more erotica stories than you could ever want. Most of them are trash, but there are a few that are well-written.

Thanks. I spent a couple of hours enjoying Beth's travels and travails. When do the books come out?

If it's all the same to you, I'll probably just stick with this first mental image. Please ignore any inappropriate PMs you might receive as a result.
