Is a cookbook pitched like a regular book?
|
...like any 'regular' non-fiction book, yes...

I know I need to write a query for the regular books I've written to be read for information, but do I also need to write a query for my cookbook as well?
|
...definitely... why
wouldn't you?...

Is it best to use a standard query style and format regardless of the book I'm pitching?
|
...if they're all non-fiction, sure... why not?... but there's some difference between a non-fiction query and one for a novel...

Also, I've written more than 1 book. Is there a rule that helps you determine which book is best to pitch first or is it "meeny miny mo" or is there such thing as pitching several books simultaneously?

...you should have some idea which has the best chance of succeeding, by the research you've done into other books like it that are out on the shelves... and you should not query about more than one book at a time, but it's ok to mention in closing, that you have others in the works or ready to be submitted...
...hope that helps some... you can email me for some book proposal tips, if you want...
